Edited evaluation footage into a final film. The project, Step up, was supporting young people in their outdoor performance ambitions.

Working across the South West developing creative programmes of work. Working in Swindon to develop work putting young people at the heart of cultural development and engagement to school as ‘Cultural Architects’ making changes for them selves and sharing their talents. Managing contacting artists, budgets and conducting and collating evaluation. I was also a safeguarding officer.

2009 Youth Music Evaluation filmmaker

Documenting a national Voltage youth music event in Birmingham. Interviewing, filming and editing a short film showcasing the volunteers performances, collecting personal stories and achievement.

2009 Artist trainer ‘Proud to be different’

Workshop leader and training participants in leading an arts workshop. Working with vulnerable refugees, asylum seekers and migrant workers in Gloucestershire, allowing them to tell their stories in their own ways to build their confidence and help them integrate into the community through photography, documenting and journaling.

2008 – 2009 Documentary Artist and mentor – Flux Evaluation team

Supporting a group of 8 young documentors in collaboration with Paul Gilbert, Filmmaker. The young people are the eyes and ears of the Flux project in Swindon.

Forest Dean District Council reception redesign in collaboration with Apex Architecture. Designing and managing the installation of four glass screen printed screens.

Wrote Bid, secured funding, manage production and supporting YourFilm to work with a group of Autistic young people to make a documentary about their lives.

Mobile Media, works with young people across the city leading and supporting media projects, based at Create Studios in Swindon.

YourFilm is a media group run by young people for young people in Swindon

2007 – 2008 Project manager and mentor, YourFilm, Virtually Reel Media Box – Mobile Media 2007 – 2008

Wrote bid and secured funding to supported YourFilm working with groups across Swindon ranging from asylum seekers and refugees to youth offenders introducing them to media culminating in a website and regional event. Managing a range of artists to bring the project together, mentor, collating and managing all reports and evaluation.

2008 Production manager, New Beginnings - 2008

New Beginnings involved two films productions working with young people from across Swindon. The films were Step in to the Dark and the First light award winning documentary, The Child in Me.

2007 Lead artist, Past Present Future, Mobile Media

Over a three-month period, experienced artists worked with 100 pupils in three schools. Lead Digital Artist, I mentored and guided the training of 3 artists new either to digital arts or to working in the education and community context.

2002 Assistant project manager – Diversity

Working with Erika Tan and Jane Spray, commissioned by the Forest of Dean Sculpture Trust. Employed by SWPA Ltd. Organising various aspects of the project. I worked for SWPA public art consultants during 2002 - 2003 on a variety of projects.
